The Bentley Flying Spur comes with a new V8 under the hood

Until now, the Bentley Flying Spur was offered only with a six-liter twelve-cylinder engine with an output of 625 horsepower. However, times are bad and even those interested in a luxury limousine want to save money. That's why an eight-cylinder with a range of up to 840 km is moving under the hood!

The twice -turbocharged eight-cylinder with a volume of four liters has an output of 507 horsepower and a maximum torque of 660 Nm in the Flying Spur. All-wheel drive is a matter of course, assisted by an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Thanks to this combination, the eight-cylinder limousine accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and develops a maximum speed of 295 km/h. Thanks to the cylinder deactivation system or electronic energy recovery, the Fyling Spur has an average consumption of 10.7 l/100 km , which represents a saving of 4 l/100 km! The tank with a volume of 90 liters thus guarantees the claimed range of 840 km .

Visually, you can recognize the eight-cylinder model by the red background of the Bentley badges (the W12 has a black background), the black radiator grille and the rear exhaust tips . The interior is exactly the same without all the extras, but for that extra you get the Multimedia Specification package with a rear seat multimedia entertainment system.

The Mulliner Driving Specification package beautifies the exterior with 20-inch wheels, while the interior features a new shift knob, diamond-stitched leather upholstery and drilled alloy pedals.
