Audi showed the modernized RS7 Sportback

Shortly after the introduction of the modernized pair of A7/S7 Sportback , Audi also presented the top of this range in a new jacket. The sporty RS7 Sportback also received new lights and a radiator grille.

After all, these two elements are the most significant means of differentiation between the old and the new RS7. The grille now has sharper corners, but the quattro logo remains. The new front lights can be equipped with Matrix LED technology for an additional fee, but they are still slightly darker than the classic A7. Other design changes include an optional carbon package and new Sepang Blue, Mythos Black, Glacier White and Floret Silver body paints.

The base of the modernized RS7 is 20-inch wheels , but for an extra charge you can opt for one-inch larger rims, available in three colors. Carbon-ceramic brakes can be another additional feature. The interior boasts a new instrument panel , which is complemented by modified ventilation controls and gear shift paddles. The MMI multimedia system received the MMI Touch function.

Everything remains the same under the hood, when the power of the twin-turbocharged eight-cylinder 4.0 TFSI with an output of 560 hp and a torque of 700 Nm is sent to all wheels by an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission . The dynamic parameters remain the same as the predecessor, i.e. acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and a maximum speed limited to 250 km/h (with the Dynamic package , the maximum speed is 305 km/h). The engine has a cylinder deactivation system , which is probably why it has a paper consumption of 9.5 l/100 km and CO2 emissions at the level of 221 g/km.
