Audi RS6 Avant Plus with 608 horsepower

In a recent statement, Stephan Reil, head of the Audi Quattro division, confirmed the arrival of a more powerful variant of the Audi RS6 Avant , which will bear the Plus designation. This short word promises more car performance, lower weight and at the same time refers to the first generation from 2002.

Audi engineers find the standard 560 hp (412 kW) from the V8 biturbo engine not enough, so a more powerful version will be launched again in the middle of this year. The strengthened RS6 will have an output of 608 horsepower (447 kW) and a stiffer chassis setup. The power will be sent to the wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, flawless traction will be ensured by the advanced Quattro all-wheel drive. In an interview with CAR magazine, Reil said that the Avant Plus will not be limited in special editions. The car will be commonly available for those who find the standard RS6 underpowered and do not want to invest a lot of money in tuning the car from companies such as the German MTM. In the interview, Stephan Reil also hinted at the arrival of the facelifted TT RS Plus model and the new RS5 Plus .

The specific base price of the car has not yet been revealed. However, we can prepare for a sum of around 3 million crowns.
