Aston Martin Vanquish officially presented

The successor to the super sports Aston Martin DBS is finally officially here! It will bear the old name Vanquish, and its final form was published by the automaker only a few hours ago. You ask why all of a sudden? The rushed official premiere is mainly due to the Internet and spy photography . This does not bother us at all, and thanks to this we can enjoy looking at the car, which is based on the AM 310 concept in design. And the video, which you can watch in our Videos section, is definitely not boring either .

But before we take a closer look at the amazing body design, let's find out what's under the hood. And it's nothing less than a 6.0-liter, 421 kW (565 hp) forked twelve-cylinder engine at 6,750 rpm. The value of the torque then amounts to a solid 620 Nm at 5500 revolutions. The power unit is connected to the rear wheels via a six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transmission, thanks to which the Vanquish accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. The maximum speed reaches a value of 295 kilometers per hour. For example, ventilated carbon-ceramic disc brakes with a diameter of 398 mm at the front and 360 mm at the rear cannot be missing. The front brake calipers are six-piston, the rear four-piston. The Vanquish wears Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 255/35 ZR20 at the front and 305/30 ZR20 at the rear.

And now to the design. The shapely body profile and some partial details come from the now legendary One-77 model. The front is dominated by a massive carbon fiber front bumper and a large chrome grille. On the car, we can also find LED diodes used for daytime running lights or taillights made entirely of LEDs. Long story short, the Vanquish looks absolutely fantastic.

The Aston Martin Vanquish will be produced in two versions. A two-seater cabin will be standard. It is then possible to order a 2+2 configuration for an additional fee. And we have already bitten the price a bit. It will start at six million crowns in Great Britain.
