Aston Martin will offer the luxury Lagonda in Europe as well

When the production version of the luxury Aston Martin Lagonda was unveiled last August, the press release was quite strict about sales only in the Middle East and only to select customers. A few months after that, the Lagonda with the Taraf nickname was also shown in Dubai, where there were rumors that European clientele could also be waiting. However, we had to wait a few more months to confirm this speculation.

We now know that a strictly limited number of Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf will also reach South Africa and selected European and Asian countries. Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Holland, Norway, Poland, Austria, Portugal, Russia, Sweden, Spain, Ukraine and Switzerland are among those chosen from Europe . In Asia , the selected countries now include Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and Singapore. However, together with the vehicles for the Sheikhs of Dubai, more than 200 cars with both left- and right-hand drive will not be created.

The 5.4-meter-long sedan with a wheelbase of 3189 mm sits on the VH platform, which is derived from the less flashy Rapide S sedan. The carbon fiber body design is as futuristic as its almost forty-year-old predecessor. The front is dominated by a huge radiator grille with connected LED lights, which creates the impression of wings. An impressive feature is the long hood. The rear parts are rather minimalistic compared to the front ones, and their main elements are LED diode lights , a distinctive draining edge of the trunk lid and a diffuser with a pair of trapezoidal exhaust tips.

The light leather-upholstered cabin literally exudes a luxurious atmosphere. The Q personalization division literally worked on the hand-stitched seats, dashboard, door panels and ceiling. The ubiquitous leather is complemented by a wood -paneled center console and a number of metallic decorations. The basic shapes are again based on the Rapide sedan, but compared to it, the four individual seats offer more space. When the initial shock of the luxurious material wears off, you will also notice the multimedia system or the state-of-the-art air conditioning unit.

Technical details are still being kept secret by Aston Martin, the only confirmed information is the use of a six-liter twelve-cylinder engine under the hood. The output should be around 557 horsepower, which guarantees acceleration to 100 km/h in about 5 seconds and a maximum speed of around 320 km/h. Every single piece is assembled by hand in the factory in Gaydon , where the One-77 supersport was also created before, and the interested party has, of course, the opportunity to influence the appearance of his car through the Q by Aston Martin program. The price for Europe has not yet been determined, but in Britain there is talk of 400,000 pounds (approx. 15 million crowns).
