Aston Martin DBS Ultimate – new details

Although we already told you about the Ultimate limited edition of the epic Aston Martin DBS once this week, it left such an impression on us that we will come back to it again. But before we do that, let's summarize a few insights. The Aston Martin DBS has been with us since 2007, and while it still looks absolutely incredible, it's heading inexorably into automotive retirement. The Ultimace Edition is therefore a very pleasant farewell to the car, whose successor will be presented to a select clientele on May 18 at the famous Nürburgring circuit. Back to this edition.

The DBS Ultimate is available as both a coupe and a convertible. The elegant yet sporty look is underlined by a black grille, blacked-out taillights and carbon fiber accessories. We can't forget the black alloy wheels, the dark tailpipes of the sports exhaust system and the brake calipers painted in yellow, black or red.

The interior exudes the charm of exclusive materials, refined appearance and otherworldly elegance even from mere photographs. Compared to the standard version, sports seats upholstered in a combination of leather and Alcantara are offered. We also find contrasting stitching, a leather-trimmed dashboard and carbon fiber trim.

The engine is powered by a 6.0 liter 12-cylinder engine with an output of 380 kW (517 hp) and 570 Nm of torque. The coupe with this power unit accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of up to 305 km/h. Nowadays, however, these numbers are no longer dazzling, so we'll see how the new generation copes.
