Aston Martin will end production of the luxury mini

One of the most bizarre models in the current range of the British Aston Martin will soon be a thing of the past. The Cygnet model , produced in cooperation with Toyota , which was supposed to reduce the car company's emissions, ends after three years.

This information was confirmed to The Supercar Kids by an unnamed representative of the brand, stating that several cars can be obtained from the brand's official dealership. The source did not say why production ended.

One of the main reasons can be the high price of the car. After all, in the Czech Republic, the Cygnet was available for 958,380 CZK , which is the price of a well-equipped model three classes higher.

Let's remind that the basis of the luxurious mini, which was presented in 2009 and began to be produced two years later, is the Toyota iQ . Under the hood is a 1.33 four-cylinder petrol engine with a power of 98 hp and a torque of 125 Nm. It is also the work of a Japanese manufacturer.
