Alfa Romeo 8C Spider – Italian symphony (video)

The Alfa Romeo 8C Spider was presented in serial form in 2008 at the Geneva Motor Show. The production lines in Modena did not start until a year later, and Maserati also collaborated with Alfa on production. In advance, the head of the FIAT concern announced that only 500 units will roll off the production lines, of which 35 cars will arrive on the American market.

The price tag for one 8C Spider was set at 175,000 Euro (about 4.44 million crowns at today's exchange rate). But it was certainly not money poorly invested, as the Alfa Romeo 8C is one of the best-looking modern cars. Under the hood is a 4.7 -liter eight-cylinder engine from Ferrari , which has an output of 450 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and a torque of 480 Nm. Said power is transmitted to the rear wheels using a six-speed gearbox with paddles under the steering wheel. The car from the Italian stable will also offer a limited-slip differential.

In the attached video by user Marchettino , we can see the Spider in white paint, which makes itself known with its excellent "sizzling" sound. So sit back and listen to that Italian symphony!
