The small British car manufacturer Caterham presents another member of its rather extensive family of models. Between the Supersport and Superlight R300 versions, the Supersport R version will be included!
It differs from the default Supersport mainly in the use of the 2.0 Duartec power unit, which is originally from Ford. This engine has 182 horsepower and torque peaks at 194 Nm . This power is then sent to the rear wheels by a 5-speed manual (for an extra charge it can have one more speed) with the help of a limited-slip differential.
The power of 182 horses works out with only 535 kg , so the dynamics are impressive – acceleration to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and a maximum of 209 km/h! The new Avon CR500 tires or sports seats with four-point belts will surely support you on the circuit.
