Hyundai is heading into the luxury coupe segment

Hyundai tries to assert itself against the European premium enclave quite regularly. The first attempts with the XG and Grandeur models did not bring much success, but the current pair of Genesis and Equus are already celebrating greater success. The Vision G concept is a foreshadowing of the next generation luxury model with the H logo (in this case, rather Genesis) on the hood.

Although the appearance of the large coupe may seem somewhat futuristic at first glance, the design centers of the brand , led by the one in the USA, have created a surprisingly interesting mix of elements that are not at all far from serial production. The front part is clearly dominated by the latest concept of the hexagonal radiator mask , or rather the complicated rendering of the air intakes in the lower part of the bumper. A proper luxury coupe includes a long hood, which in the case of this concept hides the Tau's five-liter V8 with 426 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 519 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm.

From the engine compartment, let's quickly return to the bodywork, which has a lot to offer in terms of profile and in the rear areas . Only the narrow side glazing , missing the B-pillar, looks very luxurious, and the rear part offers a double tailpipe or a decent spoiler . The four-seater cabin is full of wooden and gold decor, the seats are also upholstered in high-quality light leather. A Lexicon audio system plays and, as is good practice these days, all the car's functions are controlled via touchscreens. A neat feature is the automatic door , which opens when the owner is detected near the car.
