Nissan has revealed the new Juke-R

Although it doesn't seem like it, it's been four years since Nissan came up with the Juke-R super sports crossover , whose relatively stock body hid the guts of the GT-R coupe. This year's Goodwood Festival of Speed will see the premiere of an improved version of the "godzilla gutted frog" serial number 2.0.

The most interesting part of the concept is naturally the powertrain, i.e. the 3.8-liter six-cylinder twinturbo with an output of 600 hp and a torque of 652 Nm from the top GT-R Nismo. Unfortunately, the Japanese automaker did not publish other dynamic data, so we can only speculate about the acceleration (it will certainly be better than the 3.7 seconds of the predecessor) and the maximum speed. However, the use of all-wheel drive and automatic transmission is likely.

The appearance in detail corresponds to the Juke after last year's ongoing modernization . This mainly means LED daytime running lights in the front bumper and LED rear lights. Other changes have been made in the interest of better crossover performance – the cooling holes in the front bumper are more than twice as large, the carbon diffuser at the back with a pair of carbon-clad exhaust tips and the hood now includes two carbon cooling vents. And speaking of carbon fiber , this material is also used for the sill extensions, both bumpers, the rear wing and the extensions of the wheel arches of both fenders. The 20-inch matte black wheels come from the Nissan GT-R.
