24,864 units sold is certainly not an insignificant number, especially when it comes to last year's result of the Porsche Panamera . The new version of the Panamera Edition will want to consolidate or perhaps even improve the positions it has gained, scoring primarily with its rich standard equipment.
On the outside, the new 19-inch Panamera Turbo II wheels , respectively the black glossy frames around the side windows and, in the case of keyless entry, also the door handles. The front lights have bi-xenon lamps with a dynamic PDLS system as standard . The interior is partially upholstered in two-tone (black and beige) leather with Porsche logos embroidered on the headrests. The Sport Design steering wheel is complemented by modified carpets and door sills with the Edition inscription. The equipment does not lack a multimedia system with a seven-inch touch screen, navigation or Bose Surround Sound audio with fourteen speakers with a power of 585 W. There is a parking assistant in the front, and a reversing camera in the back.
Under the hood, there will be a choice of a 3.6-liter six-cylinder gasoline engine with an output of 310 hp and a torque of 400 Nm (Panamera) or a three-liter turbodiesel with an output of 300 hp and a torque of 650 Nm (Panamera Diesel). Both engines have rear-wheel drive as standard, but the petrol engine can also have all-wheel drive (Panamera 4). Another additional equipment element is the adaptive suspension PASM.
Worldwide sales, including the Czech Republic, will start in June and will have some specifics for the markets in China and the USA. While in Asia the Panamera Edition will get two separate rear seats and blinds on the rear windows, or will not get a diesel engine, the Americans will have comfortable front seats with 14-way electric adjustment, memory function and heating (this is also available for the rear seats). Prices start at 86,490 euros (approx. 2.38 million crowns) for the gasoline engine.
