Alpina presented the modified B6 Gran Coupé

BMW recently introduced a slightly modernized 6 series , and it was only a matter of time before these changes were also reflected in the Alpina range. That time came along with the auto show in Chicago , which starts today.

The basic appearance changes correspond to those of the classic 6 series and include slightly redesigned kidney grilles, respectively adaptive headlights from LEDs . The specifics of the version from Alpina are not only the distinctively shaped hood, but also the body kit and 20-inch wheels, behind which are hidden blue painted brake calipers, with tires of size 255/35 in front and 295/30 in the back. In the interior, the owner will be greeted by leather upholstery , modified decors and a specific Alpina instrument panel.

However, the main changes took place on the 4.4-liter eight-cylinder bi-turbo , which has a new 608 hp at 6000 rpm and 799 Nm at 3500 rpm. It is clear from the name that four-wheel drive was used in combination with an eight-speed automatic transmission . Thanks to them, the four-door coupe accelerates to 96 km/h in 3.6 seconds and "pulls" up to 321 km/h.
