Buick introduced a new large sedan

A large limousine of its own production has been missing from Buick's portfolio for some time now. Instead of them, the American car manufacturer churns out specials for China or rebranded Opels for all corners of the world. But now there is Avenir, a concept of a more than five-meter limousine with a six-cylinder engine under the hood.

Exactly 5195 mm long and 1931 mm wide, the four-seater sedan can certainly be classified as the most successful that was shown in Detroit this year. As befits an American limousine, the Avenir does not lack a large amount of chrome on the radiator grille, 21-inch wheels or around the windows. LED front lights and flared fenders are also present.

The interior can be perfectly pampered thanks to four separate seats with premium leather upholstery or the 12-inch IntelliLink system touchscreen on the center console, which can recognize the driver and automatically set his favorite music or calendar events. After all, leather, chrome, wood or even silk were not spared on other parts of the cabin either! The curves are said to be inspired by nature (hence also the use of mainly natural color shades), namely sea waves, washing the coast of the beach . The digital instrument panel and entertainment system for rear passengers with video and USB port will take you back to the present.

The drive is provided by a new generation six-cylinder engine with direct fuel injection, cylinder deactivation and a start/stop system. A nine-speed automatic transmission transmits power to the rear wheels .
