Lexus has unveiled the GS F sports sedan

Their territory is the highway, their pace is murderous… Thus begins quite possibly the most famous German series about the highway police. However, there will be no mention of Semir Gerkhan, because we can safely transfer this characteristic to German, American and now Japanese " supersedans ".

The last member of the selected company, where we can find, for example, the BMW M5 or Cadillac CTS-V, will be the Lexus GS F after the Detroit Auto Show at the latest. Compared to almost all competition, it is defined not only by its external appearance, but above all by the space under the hood – where others have a turbocharger or a compressor, the Japanese Samurai carries an honest atmospheric five-liter eight-cylinder engine from the RC F coupe with an output of 473 hp at 7100 rpm with a torque of 527 Nm between 4800 – 5600 rpm Power is transmitted to the rear wheels by an eight-speed automatic with the option of manual shifting, which is assisted by the standard T VD differential with torque vectoring. It works in Standard (a balanced ratio between agility and stability), Slalom (focusing on nimble steering responses and agility) and Track (emphasis on stable behavior at high speeds on the circuit) modes. In addition, Lexus also worked on the rigidity of the chassis and the sporty setting of the 1830 kg chassis (the best value among all competitors) of the heavy sedan.

We have already talked about the appearance, which is particularly extravagant in the front with a large radiator grille and double LED lights. At the other end, there is a decent spoiler and, above all, wonderful double exhaust tips . Ventilated mudguards, sill extensions and 19-inch wheels stand out from the profile. The whole is complemented by a nice blue paint, already known from the RC F coupe. Sitting down in the interior means a digital instrument panel, carbon decors and leather-upholstered sports seats .
