Aston Martin DB7 with a V8 engine goes up for auction

Great Britain will be the scene of a very interesting auction on September 1, where the main actor will be a 1998 Aston Martin DB7 with a red body color. The peculiarity of this beauty is, above all, that the first owner was a member of the Saudi royal family, and also that the heart of the car is not a six-cylinder engine with an output of 250 kW (339 hp) or a V12 Vantage with an output of 313 kW (425 hp), but an eight-cylinder fork.

Specifically, it is a V8 with a displacement of 6.4 liters originally from the AMR1 racing special, which produces an output of 337 kW (458 hp), which is even more than the output of the aforementioned twelve-cylinder. Evidence of a different powertrain is also provided by the front hood with its distinctive shaping, which is a must given the size of the engine. Other differences from the standard version include, for example, sports suspension, AP Racing brakes and better steering.

According to the auction house, the Aston Martin DB7 has only 3,220 miles on it, and the final price for this attractive car is expected to reach between 90,000 and 100,000 euros.
