BMW celebrates the DTM title

There are still two races left before the end of this year's DTM German Touring Car Championship season, but the driver's title holder has been decided. It became Marco Wittmann from the BMW stable, which of course did not go without a response from the parent car company. As a gift for all fans, she prepared a limited edition M4 coupe , from which the racing special is based.

The basic color of the new special is Alpine white , which is tastefully complemented by a matte black hood and boot lid, which feature distinctive colored stripes. Combined with the carbon composite roof , the black hood and boot lid form a continuous black band that matches the black line on the sides. The whole is completed by an orange kidney grille trim , a black front splitter, carbon mirror covers, an M logo on the fenders behind the front wheels, the number 23 on the sides, and the words "WIT" and "DTM Champion 2014" on the side rear windows. The black wheels measure 19 inches.

The side skirts bear Marc Wittmann's signature , which is complemented by the inscription "DTM Champion 2014" and the serial number of the specific car from the given edition on the carbon decorative strip. Other special interior features include an Alcantara racing steering wheel with a 12 o'clock stripe, an Alcantara handbrake cuff and its handle in carbon. The cabon is also inserted into the M DCT transmission selector .

Under the hood is the standard in -line six-cylinder M TwinPower Turb o with 431 hp, in the M4 DTM Champion Edition complemented by the M DCT Drivelogic dual-clutch transmission, M carbon-ceramic brakes and the M Driver's package. A total of 23 units will be produced (reference to Wiimann's entry number), each customer will be invited to a course from the Fahrer training program at the Nordschleife , where they will be personally advised by the new DTM champion.
