However, large luxury cars of a similar concept are somewhat lacking on the market. After more than forty years , the convertible Mercedes-Benz limousine will return to international markets. It will be built on the basis of the S-class in a coupe version.
The German brand's director of product development, Thomas Weber , confirmed the arrival of the open luxury Mercedes-Benz to Automotive News Europe . The basis will be the planned version of the coupe , which was presented in the form of a concept (photo in the gallery) at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show. It is said that it does not differ much from the serial form, so we can also deduce the form of the open version. We will see the S-Class Coupé in series form at the beginning of next year, probably already in January, and the open version with a canvas roof will come about a year later.
