New Aston Martin Vanquish the star of London

When the British car manufacturer Aston Martin showed the first official image of the new Vanquish model at the end of June, it caused enthusiastic reactions in the motoring world. After all, that's nothing to be surprised about. This latest initiative of the automaker really looks great. And almost 500 enthusiasts, Aston owners and other celebrities in London, where the new Vanquish was officially presented for the first time, also know about it.

I certainly don't need to describe the design at length to anyone. At first glance, it is clear that there is no revolution taking place in terms of the exterior. It is therefore more about the evolution of the existing shapes typical for this car company. The only criticism that is really being talked about belongs to the interior, where a not very attractive steering wheel has taken its place. Damage.

And now he remembers some technical information. The heart of the whole car is a fork twelve-cylinder engine with a displacement of 6.0 liters and an output of 421 kW (565 hp) at 6750 revolutions per minute. The value of the torque then amounts to a solid 620 Nm at 5500 revolutions. The power unit is connected to the rear wheels via a six-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transmission, thanks to which the Vanquish accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. The maximum speed reaches a value of 295 kilometers per hour. For example, ventilated carbon-ceramic disc brakes with a diameter of 398 mm at the front and 360 mm at the rear cannot be missing. The front brake calipers are six-piston, the rear four-piston. The Vanquish wears Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 255/35 ZR20 at the front and 305/30 ZR20 at the rear.
