Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake revealed!

In the darkroom of Mercedes , they haven't even had time to drop the developed photos of the new CLS Shooting Brake model, and they are already serving us something else. This is a sharp version of the CLS 63 AMG , which was quietly introduced on the social network of the German manufacturer.

It will come as no great surprise to anyone that the Shooting Brake AMG follows in the design footsteps of its older sibling. So let's expect a new front bumper with integrated LEDs for daytime running lights, an expanded range of lightweight alloy wheels and a rear bumper with four exhaust tips and a diffuser.

We don't have any information about the interior yet, but I assume that there won't be many changes here either. That's probably why we'll find tons of carbon fiber , Alcantara , brushed aluminum and a speedometer rated high at 300 km/h.

Under the hood, a twin-turbocharged V8 with a volume of 5.5 liters, a basic power of 386 kW and a torque of 700 Nm found its place. By installing the AMG Performance package, the figures can be increased to 410 kW and 800 Nm. The unit will work as standard with a seven-speed SPEEDSHIFT MCT automatic transmission, through which power will be sent to the rear wheels.

Despite the achieved hyper-performance, Mercedes promises a fuel consumption of around 10 l/100 km, so the obligatory Start/Stop system will certainly not be missing.
