McLaren has revealed its future plans

In just three years, the resurrected British automaker McLaren managed to turn a profit. Before tax, this amount was 4.5 million pounds (approx. 152 million crowns), thanks to which investments in new models could also rise from 68.1 million pounds to 70.6 million pounds (from approx. 2.3 billion crowns to 2, 38 billion crowns). At the same time, the basic model with the code designation P13 will be essential, which will complement, for example, the supersport P1 Track.

The McLaren P13 , like its larger siblings, will be built around a carbon monocoque , while under the hood we will find a twin-turbocharged eight-cylinder engine (of course with a lower output of around 450 hp), placed in the middle. It will work exclusively with a dual-clutch transmission . The range of body variants will be interesting, including, in addition to the classic coupe with the Spider, something like a GT version . Compared to its siblings, it should offer a larger luggage space , while its inspiration is the original Jaguar E-Type.

The P1 Track model will be from a completely different barrel. The basis will be the hypersport P1 , but the new derivative will be designed exclusively for circuits and will only be available to existing owners of the P1 model. According to McLaren, it will be its most powerful car ever, when the twin-turbocharged eight-cylinder will offer up to 915 horsepower! In addition to higher performance, the model will have an aerodynamic package, racing tires and lower weight . If the 375 original P1 seemed to you not enough, know that this extreme version is supposed to be the rarest model of the brand ever . With 106 McLaren F1s built, the P1 Track will be even fewer…
