Jens Schulenburg , Bugatti 's chief engineer, stated that work has begun on the successor to the famous Veyron . We don't know much about the model, but Schulenburg says, “We're going to have a big fight with the weight of the vehicle. We focus on "impossible" technologies, such as carbon fiber rims . The drive will be taken care of by a hybrid system .
We still don't know anything about when the expected model will be introduced. We can predict its unveiling at the same time as the 16C Galibier goes into production, that is , in 2014 or 2015 .
This leaves us with a lot of unknowns, including whether the successor will be as stunning as the Veyron or will end up in the abyss of history. But that is already in the near future, so all we have to do is hold on and wait for more news about the mysterious Bugatti .
