Lexus will collaborate with BMW on the second generation LFA

It will be 4 years since Lexus gave the world the LFA supersport. And given the fact that he's been developing it for almost 10 years, it's time to start developing a new generation that will compete with the top hybrid-powered hypercars that rule today. To help, Japanese engineers take advice from Munich to heart. The cooperation between BMW and Toyota is already known, but now it seems that the German carmaker will also be involved in the development of the top model of Lexus .

BMW now has the i8 hybrid sports car, and this system could be used in the new LFA . This would thus compete with the new Honda NSX or Porsche 918 Spyder . The current LFA has a 552bhp V10 engine. The Měmecká i8 only has a 1.5-liter three- cylinder engine with an output of 231 hp, which is complemented by an electric motor with an output of 129 hp.
