Birthday Party Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 by RK Motors.

It will be fifty years since one of the ground-breaking cars that drove customers crazy was introduced to the world. Ford Mustang , founder of the pony car category and later muscle cars . It survived until today, when it offers a stylish body with a powerful engine at an affordable price.

Many people decided to wish the Mustang on its anniversary in some way, but they did something really original in the workshops of RK Motors in North Carolina . Because they built their greeting card as an original 1967 Mustang Shelby GT500 and will present it at the Charlotte Motor Speedway . However, their modified Mustang has an output of 800 horsepower , which is a real birthday bomb. The modified engine block uses Fast XFI electronic injection. All power is sent to the rear wheels via a Tremec T56 six-speed manual transmission. In order to transfer that power to the road, the car is assisted by BF Goodrich G-Force Sport tires.

But the company's owner, Rob Kauffman , doesn't just want an overpowered beast in a decent old suit. He intends to go with the car on the Power Tour of Hot Rod magazine, during which hot rods and muscle cars will set off on a 1,500-mile journey from the Charlotte circuit through 7 states to Wisconsin .

The Ford automaker also intends to present the birthday of its successful model much more, but the activity of the RK workshops seems to us more in the spirit of the legacy of the original Mustang , because driving across the United States with strengthened muscle is exactly the freedom that the original owners of these cars were looking for.
