The palette of the modernized Porsche Panamera is complete

The fastest, most powerful and most luxurious Panamera on the market – that's how the currently modernized Turbo S version could be described in short. Her biggest weapon is a strengthened eight-cylinder engine and an endless amount of luxury on board.

The most fundamental change of this modernization is the strengthening of the 4.8 liter eight-cylinder petrol engine by 50 hp and the torque increase by 50 Nm. This was made possible by new turbochargers with larger blowers that improve airflow and force more oxygen into the combustion chambers at a higher speed and under increased pressure. In addition, the injection pressure has increased by 20 bar to 140 bar. Both of these measures together bring a greater load on the individual components, which is why, for example, the pistons are made of a new aluminum alloy and the piston rings have a special surface treatment.

The result is a power of 570 hp and a torque of 750 Nm, which is available in the range of 2250 to 5000 rpm and increases to 800 Nm for a short time when using the overboost function . All-wheel drive PTM and dual-clutch transmission PDK are standard, thanks to which acceleration to 100 km/h takes place in 3.8 seconds and the speedometer needle stops at the limit of 310 km/h . Of course, the press release cannot miss the consumption figure, which has dropped by more than 11% to 10.2 l/100 km compared to its predecessor.

Appearance changes correspond to those that have already taken place on lower versions of the Panamera. The customer will thus receive modified bumpers or other lights. The Turbo S is the only Panamera equipped with a unique four-piece rear spoiler in body color and twenty- inch 911 Turbo II wheels . In the color swatch you will then find Palladium metallic, again only available for the Turbo S. Compared to the predecessor, you can also choose between the classic version and the 150 mm longer Executive version .

The basic equipment includes carbon-ceramic brakes , Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (limits body roll), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (actively distributes the torque between the individual wheels of the rear axle and improves traction) and Porsche Active Suspension Management (active shock absorbers and adaptive air suspension) or the Sport Chrono package . The base price was set at 180,027 euros (approx. 4,634,000 CZK) for the Panamera Turbo S and at 197,041 euros (approx. 5,072,000 CZK) for the extended Turbo S Executive version.
