Volvo is considering the production of the Concept Coupé

Many interesting new products and concepts were on display at the recently concluded Frankfurt Motor Show, one of which was also on the Volvo stand and was called the Concept Coupé . Without a doubt, he was one of the shining stars at the fairgrounds, which is why at least limited production is now being considered.

According to the German AutoBild , the Volvo Concept Coupé had very positive responses at the motor show, which forced the board of directors of the Swedish car company to consider serial or limited production . So far, there are no dates for the start of production or performances, but we could expect a decision on entering production at the beginning of next year . If the Concept Coupé goes into production, its production version would be built by the Bertone studio .

The Volvo Coupé Concept was presented primarily for the brand to show everyone present what path the Swedish brand will take. Inside the concept's engine bay was a plug-in hybrid system that included a 2.0 -liter Drive-E four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor driving the rear axle. Total power is around 400 horsepower and torque around 600 Nm.
