Bentleys are no longer just luxury limousines. In recent years, the traditional British brand has been "with the times" and this trend will continue. A four-door coupe will arrive in 2018 !
According to Car magazine , this model is almost a sure thing, as it has received the green light internally. The novelty could be the best-selling Bentley – with a price of around 125,000 euros (approx. 3,240,000 CZK), it will become the cheapest model of the brand . The coupe will stand on the new MSB platform , which will be used for the first time by the new generation Porsche Panamera, which, by the way, will also become one of the competitors of the new Bentley. The others include traditional representatives of this category – its pioneer Mercedes-Benz CLS and BMW 6 Gran Coupé.
Even before the four-door coupe, a large SUV will hit the market, foreshadowed by the EXP 9 F concept . The platform and possibly the 12-cylinder engine with around 650 horsepower will be shared with the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and Lamborghini Urus. However, if you are afraid of too much unification, there is no reason – the head of the Bentley car company claims that the new SUV will be completely original, but not in the style of the controversial EXP 9 F concept.
If we look into the very distant future, we will see a new generation of the Mulsanne limousine . According to the plans, it will be shown in 2020 and will be bigger overall and offer far more luxury elements so that it can compete with the Rolls-Royce Phantom . Therefore, forget about the eight-cylinder under the hood – it will be replaced by a W12 engine and all-wheel drive will not be missing.
