The Wiesmann car company went bankrupt

Another of the smaller car companies declared bankruptcy . After the German Artez and the American Fisker, this fate befell another German car company – Wiesmann , which tried to produce classic roadsters and coupes with BMW technology.

The car company itself reportedly applied for bankruptcy, and the district court in Münster granted the request. The fate of the company is currently in the hands of insolvency administrator Norbert Küpper .

What will happen to the car company is not yet clear. However, there is a parallel with another German small-series car manufacturer – Artega ran into similar problems last year. Its insolvency administrator first stopped production and later began negotiating the sale of the car company's assets to Paragon.

The founders of the car company – Martin and Friedhelm Wiesmann left "their" car company already last year.
