Morgan – Brooklands Edition of Roadster and 3 Wheeler models

British carmaker Morgan is one of the last remaining old-school sports car manufacturers. Now the manufacturer has presented a special Brooklands Edition of two of its models – Roadster and 3 Wheeler .

The basis of all Morgans is a wooden frame and the cars are built by hand. The car company is still owned by the Morgan family, making it one of the oldest manufacturers ever. And the new Brooklands edition only confirms this. It is to celebrate the heritage of British sports cars and their styling. The name of the edition comes from the Brooklands circuit, which first opened on 17 June 1907.

The Roadster Brooklands Edition model will offer green (Jaguar "Brooklands") body color with a silver (Speed Silver Satin) engine cover. The power unit remains unchanged, so the customer gets a 3.7-liter V6 gasoline engine that drives the rear wheels. These, together with the front ones, are made of black alloy. In the interior, new sports seats, a redesigned steering wheel, a changed position of the gear lever, a dashboard in the body color and, above all, a plaque with the serial number of the car are installed. The basic price of the Roadster Brooklands Edition is 40,000 pounds plus VAT, which is roughly 1.2 million crowns plus VAT . For this price, the customer will receive a special book about the Brooklands circuit and membership of the circuit foundation. Of course, additional fees can increase this price even more.

The smaller and more stylish 3 Wheeler Brooklands Edition will offer almost the same as its bigger sibling, but with a few differences. The body color can be green (Jaguar "Brooklands") or unpainted, polished silver. The exposed engine is also polished to a high shine. The interior consists of the same black sports seats, a new steering wheel and a numbered plaque. An interesting feature is the possibility to order heated seats for an additional fee. With the purchase of the 3 Wheeler in this edition, the customer will again receive a book about the Brooklands circuit and membership of its foundation.

The numbered plaques in the interior of both cars are for one and simple reason – only 50 pieces of each will be produced. Customers will thus be offered an even greater exceptionality than in the case of "classic" Morgans . Pricing for the 3 Wheeler is yet to be announced.
