Lamborghini presents a special version of the Gallardo coupe

Have you also always wanted to know the feeling of driving a racing machine , but never had the opportunity? Now you have it! The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse will be presented in Frankfurt, which is actually the road version of the Super Trofeo racing model .

Lamborghini didn't even use any major modifications, so the Squadra Corsa could easily go toe-to-toe with its racing sibling. The basis of both models is the Gallardo Superleggera, and under the hood of both models even beats the same heart – a ten- cylinder engine with a power of 570 hp ! It is connected to a six-speed robotic e-gear transmission and transmits power to all four wheels.

The bodywork of the new version of the Gallardo is mainly made of aluminum and carbon, which makes the Squadra Corsa 70 kg lighter than the Gallardo LP 560-4 . With a weight of 1340 kg, the aforementioned ten-cylinder can do wonders. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.4 s, to 200 km/h in 10.4 s. The maximum speed is 320 km/h.

Other elements are also derived from the racing model. For example, the rear carbon wing can create 3 times more downforce than the spoiler of the standard Gallardo, and the rear carbon hood can be completely removed.

The interior is dominated by sports seats that are upholstered in Alcantara. The same material can also be found on the instrument panel. The seat itself is made of carbon , as are the door panels, part of the center console and the lower part of the steering wheel. But if you don't like sports seats, you can replace them with classic, more comfortable ones.
