Audi has officially announced its intention to buy Ducati

The German premium car manufacturer Audi has officially announced its plans to buy out the Ducati brand. The terms of the agreement have not yet been disclosed, but Audi representatives are confident that the transaction will be completed as soon as possible after approval by the relevant authorities.

The head of Audi, Rupert Stadler , commented on the whole project as follows: " Ducati is a world-renowned manufacturer of premium motorcycles with a long tradition. The brand's engineers have expertise in the development and production of lightweight construction and high-performance engines. This makes them one of the most profitable motorcycle manufacturers in the world. They thus meet the ideal conditions for Audi cars".

It remains unclear what the main intention is to use the knowledge of Ducati engineers. However, we are likely to see a lighter construction of new cars from Audi in the future, as well as progressive control systems .
