The Fornasari Gigi concept is headed for production

Looking at the vehicle fleet moving on our roads, I get the impression that nothing other than the company's Octávia, Passats, sometimes Fabias or the aging Felicias have ever been sold here. That's why I welcome all interesting projects with gusto and enthusiasm that can add some color to today's gray on the road.

One such project is, for example, the Gigi concept of the not very well-known Italian car company Fornasari , which was given the go-ahead to create a limited series.

However, it should be noted that the design of this model, which will be created as a coupe or convertible, is not quite the most original. The exterior body shapes are perhaps too inspired by other models. Whether it's the roof, rear lights or even the front part. It's certainly not boring, and we haven't gotten to the power unit yet.

Under the hood should be a forked eight-cylinder engine with a displacement of 6.2 liters and an output of over 500 horsepower (373 kW). This, combined with the low weight, should mean acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in approximately 3.5 seconds and a maximum speed of over 330 kilometers per hour.

And how much will Gigi cost? Insiders are talking about an amount converted to around 5.5 million crowns.
