We're not going to lie – the Ford Mustang is one of the greatest legends of American cars and is at the forefront of muscle cars both today and in the past. Up to this point, the production Mustang GT500 has paid for one of the most cold-blooded killers of inexperienced drivers. This is mainly due to the outdated concept of the chassis with a rigid rear axle and a huge monster under the hood.
However, there are those for whom 500 horsepower is not enough, and those that provide the desired increase in performance. The solution is the company GeigerCars, which offers both a package for increasing engine performance and an optical package as well. Their work is called the Ford Mustang Shelby GT640 Golden Snake , and after the first 100 meters you will probably lose your driver's license with it.
In terms of appearance, not much has changed. As the name suggests, the vehicle is wrapped in a gold coat, complete with a contrasting carbon bonnet, front splitter and wider side skirts. The entire car stands on an H&R sports chassis, and contact with the road is ensured by 20" alloy wheels. They are shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sport racing tires.
Under the hood is an even more polished monster than in the case of the production version of the GT500 . In this case, you have at your disposal a 5.4-liter V8 engine with a supercharger, a stainless steel exhaust system and a reprogrammed control unit. Thanks to these modifications, it was possible to increase the output to an incredible 471 kW. The torque of 789 Nm will probably turn the Earth back a fair bit. With these parameters, you won't care that you accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, because already at 80 km/h you will be squeezed into the back seats.
But every fun costs something. You will pay €89,000 for a model with these parameters. Individual components can also be purchased separately.
