The BMW M6 got a manual transmission

BMW probably values American customers more than European ones. Europe has been calling for a manual transmission for the M6 model for a long time now, and there is no remedy. America, on the other hand, will get a manual M6.

And that in all three versions – Coupe, Convertible and Gran Coupe . The six-speed manual comes from engineers at the M GmbH division and will be offered as a no-charge alternative to the automatic transmission. The novelty in the menu received the rev match function, which means electronic intermediate gases. This "option" can be found in Efficient and Sport modes, Sport + mode disables this feature.

In addition to the new transmission, the M6 series models have the option of carbon-ceramic brakes , which weigh only 19.4 kg. The M6 will also get an improved iDrive multimedia system along with the 640i and 650i versions, while the 640i Gran Coupe will now offer xDrive all-wheel drive for an extra charge.

A new special Frozen Brilliant White Edition could be intended not only for America. It will be offered exclusively with a cabriolet body and in the 650i or 650i xDrive version. In addition to the higher price ($106,695 or $110,095 for xDrive) and exclusivity (only 100 units will be produced), buyers will also get a special frosted white Frozen Brilliant metallic with Frozen Black mirrors, a black radiator grille and twenty-inch M wheels. Inside you settle into the Nappa leather seats and the wood paneling surrounds you. The instrument panel is digital on this edition and there are also M Sport, Executive packages and, in the case of the all-wheel drive model, the Cold Weather package at no extra charge.
