The British car manufacturer Jaguar presented the most powerful sedan in the brand's history last year at the Los Angeles Auto Show, called the XFR-S . It can be seen that the brand is really not idle with sharp models, because another sharp cat will be presented at this year's New York exhibition center – the XJR .
The as-yet-unveiled model is described as a dynamic flagship that has a significantly altered front bumper with larger vents and black grilles. There will also be a sport-tuned suspension and red brake calipers hide under the five-spoke alloy wheels.
Under the hood of the sharp Jaguar XJR we find a turbocharged 5.0 -liter eight-cylinder with a power of 550 horsepower and a torque of around 680 Nm. More details are not yet available, but it is estimated that the XJR model will accelerate to 100 km/h in less than 4.5 seconds .
Adrian Hallmark, global director of the brand, said: "The new Jaguar XJR embodies the three pillars of technology, performance and modern design that the brand is known for in the 21st century, while bringing new levels of dynamism in a luxury sedan."
