Italdesign presented the Parcour concept

The company ItalDesign came under the auspices of the Volkswagen concern in 2010, and since lately the German company has only been talking about SUVs , it could be expected that ItalDesign would soon come up with an SUV concept. But some kind of compromise was probably made, as the Parcour concept study has a coupe-SUV body and was presented at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show.

The Italian concept was named after the modern sport of Parcour , in which you overcome urban obstacles by moving your own body. A total of two concepts were revealed at the exhibition site – a coupe and a roadster, which have elements of sports cars from, for example, Lamborghini . Both body variants will offer a 5.2 -liter ten-cylinder with a power of 542 horsepower, which we know from the Lamborghini Gallardo . The power unit is connected to a seven-speed automatic transmission with two clutches, which transmits power to all wheels.

ItalDesign stated that the Parcour concept will accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 km/h. The conceptual study has the following dimensions – length 4530 mm, width 2070 mm and height 1335 mm. The weight of the car is 1550 kg. Unfortunately, it looks like the said study will never enter series production…
