Ferrari unveiled the successor to the Enzo model

This year, the Geneva Motor Show is a paradise for multibillionaires. Lamborghini showed the wonderful Veneno , McLaren showed the no less successful P1 , and Ferrari finally showed off the Enzo's successor with the somewhat mind-boggling name LaFerrari .

The design of the LaFerrari is impressive. You may recognize some other contemporary Ferrari in the details, but as a whole this is true Italy. A distinctive front bumper, two-tone bodywork, mirrors like a racing car or a huge rear diffuser with four exhaust tips . The interior offers only the most necessary, of course, but in perfect quality. The steering wheel is particularly interesting, and there is also a yellow-tinged alarm clock in the instrument cluster.

The drive has finally been officially confirmed. It follows the path of, for example, the McLaren P1 and consists of a conventional twelve-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of 6262 cubic centimeters with an output of 800 hp at 9000 rpm and a torque of 700 Nm at 6750 rpm and an electric motor with an output of 163 hp and a torque of 270 Nm . The total power of the "system" is 963 hp , and the torque will exceed 900 Nm.

The transmission of the large herd is handled by a seven-speed DCT gearbox , which allows acceleration to 100 km/h in under three seconds, to 200 km/h in under seven seconds and to 300 km/h in 15 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 350 km/h . Unlike the McLaren P1, the LaFerrari cannot run purely on electricity. Nevertheless, the electric motor helps, mainly to reduce emissions to 330 g/km.

The weight distribution is almost ideal – 41 on the front and 59 on the rear. At the same time, the whole Ferrari weighs only 1255 kg (of which the Hy-KERS system weighs 140 kg) and on the road it occupies a length of 4702 mm, a width of 1992 mm and a height of 1116 mm.

Safe stopping is ensured by Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with dimensions of 398 x 223 x 36 mm at the front and 380 x 253 x 34 mm at the rear. The brakes are hidden behind nineteen-inch wheels with 265/30 tires in the front or twenty-inch wheels with 345/30 tires.

Ferrari says it will only make 499 units of this gem. The price of one will then exceed 1.3 million euros (approx. CZK 33,000,000).
