Carlsson CK63 RSR with 700 hp

Carlsson , a German luxury car tuner, has unveiled its latest project named the CK63 RSR . It is based on the standard specification of the current generation Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG and provides really decent performance parameters.

The Carlsson CK63 RSR has undergone a large number of modifications, which have had an impact on the resulting parameters of the car. The output of the standard V8 engine has been increased to 700 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque. But that alone would not be enough, so Carlsson engineers installed a more powerful pair of turbochargers, an improved oil and coolant cooling system, and a thermoregulation system for the oil cooler in the transmission. With these modifications, the Carlsson CK63 RSR accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3, 9 seconds , at a speed of 200 km/h it will be in another 8 seconds and its acceleration stops at 340 km/h.

As can be seen from the attached photos, the modifications did not only affect the engine, but also the exterior of the car. It received a new splitter and larger aerodynamic openings that bring air to the drilled brake discs. At the rear of the CK63 RSR model, a diffuser and an electronically extendable spoiler have found their place, which automatically extend from a speed of 100 km/h or at the push of a button.

Slight changes finally arrived in the interior, but only in the form of new materials. A potential buyer may be pleased by the fact that if he has his Mercedes-Benz CLS modified by Carlsson, he will receive a 3-year or 100,000-mile warranty on the above-mentioned modifications and components. However, the price of the depicted car is kept quiet.
