The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be designed only for racing circuits

In 2010, the Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini presented a super sports project called Sesto Elemento at the Paris Motor Show, whose body is mainly made of carbon parts and the weight of the car did not exceed 1 ton. Its production was not considered at the time. The plan was to produce only one piece, which was to go to the Lamborghini museum.

However, now there has been a significant change and the management of the Lamborghini car company has decided to produce this model in a limited series of 20 units at the insistence of the fans. The important fact above all is that the super sports Lamborghini Sesto Elemento will be intended exclusively for racing circuits, so don't expect road homologation for this car.

Already at the presentation in 2010, the Sesto Elemento model caused a stir, mainly due to its weight and performance parameters. The Italian supersport will retain its original weight, which is a symbolic 999 kilograms. As a result, it is the lightest model that Lamborghini has ever produced. Under the hood of the car should appear the same engine that we could see at the premiere in Paris, a V10 with a volume of 5.2 liters, which is taken from the model Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera . The power and torque of the car are at the limit of 570 hp and 540 Nm, respectively. In connection with the low weight, the Sesto Elemento model does not compete with Formula 1 cars. Exactly 20 upcoming examples of the car go from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 320 km/h. As for the price, it will be around 1.5 million euros (about 37.5 million CZK in conversion).
