The engine, a twin-turbocharged 12-cylinder with a W layout of 6.0 liters , is shared by the cabriolet with the previously introduced coupe. The power of 625 horsepower , all-wheel drive and 8-speed ZF automatic transmission remained the same. As expected, however, the convertible is 5 km/h slower (top speed 325 km/h ) and also 0.2 seconds later to 100 km/h (acceleration 0-100 km/h in 4.4 seconds ). Still, Bentley claims it's the world's fastest four-person convertible .
The design changes are also very similar to the closed variant. The Speed version is visually distinguished thanks to the dark grille and air intake in the front bumper, 21-inch wheels, new exhausts and the dark background of the letter B in the car company's logo.
The interior offers more equipment and luxury than the standard version thanks to the Mulliner Driving specification. It brings new seat upholstery, aluminum decor on the dashboard and a multimedia system with navigation and a capacity of 15 GB.
The world premiere of the "fastest convertible for four" will take place in just a few days in Detroit .
