Fascination – Noble M600

Today's Friday afternoon directly encouraged a drive along the winding roads of our region. All you had to do was pull the polished car out of the garage and the fun could begin. However, the Noble M600 certainly did not appear in the wide vicinity on the road. The elegant English supercar has been on the road for quite some time, so let's talk about it.

The English car manufacturer Noble evokes completely unprecedented feelings in most fans of motoring. Is it the design, the materials used, the powerful engines or the distrust of something that, according to the excavators, is assembled somewhere in a barn in the British countryside? A hundred people, a hundred tastes, but I will probably speak for the majority when I lean towards the first three named options.

The Noble M600 is a classic two-seater sports car based on a stainless steel tube frame and carbon body panels. The car's power is provided by a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8, sourced from Volvo, through a six-speed manual transmission. Maximum performance depends on the Adaptive Performance Control system settings. The basis is set to the Road position, when the car is calm, comfortable and there is no need to worry about the rear end being blown out when exiting corners. 450 horsepower and full traction control support are available in this mode. The second stage is the Track position, where the control unit unleashes another 150 horses, improves throttle response and adequately adjusts the traction control, which now allows a controlled drift. The last step is the mandatory Race position. Here, the Noble M600 has full power of 650 horsepower (485 kW), coughs for traction control and, if necessary, accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3 seconds. All this accompanied by a beastly eight-cylinder roar with the ability to drive at speeds of up to 362 km/h.

The low weight of the car also goes hand in hand with the performance. 1250 kilograms was achieved not only by the carbon body and tubular frame, but also by the absence of unnecessary comfort and safety elements. In the Noble M600, you will not set the direction to the nearest circuit via satellite navigation, you will not cool your adrenaline-pumped body by turning on the air conditioning, and even the airbag will not support you in the event of an accident. So there are only the most important elements: driver, engine, chassis, transmission and powerful Alcon brakes. Without ABS of course.
