Holden VF SS V Redline Ute sets new Nürburgring record

The Nürburgring circuit is a place where almost all car manufacturers in the world try to get the absolute maximum out of their sporty models. For this time, the Australian car manufacturer Holden also came to see the Nordschleife , which properly drove its sharp pick-up bearing the name VF SS V Redline Ute. Everything ended with a very pleasant result in the form of a new track record!

The sharp pick-up set a new track record of 8 minutes and 19.45 seconds. This is a faster time than, for example, the German hothatch Opel Astra OPC or the American muscle car Chevrolet Camaro SS . Even such an Audi RS3 in the latest generation is behind the Holden.

It is not surprising at all, when under the hood of the VF SS V Redline Ute model there is a 6.0-liter V8 gasoline engine, which has 349 horsepower and a torque of 517 Nm. In addition, the car is equipped with an FE3 sports chassis and 19" alloy wheels shod with 245/40 front and 275/35 rear performance tires.
