First production Range Rover for sale

The Range Rover has been in production for almost 45 years. But the very first one ever made still exists, and it can be yours too. They are heading to the Salon Privé Sale auction, which takes place in September. The starting price is 5 million crowns. The specific car was produced between November 24 and December 17, 1969. That is half a year before the Range Rover was officially introduced to the public. The car was first owned by Michael Furlong , who also made two promotional films about the car for the car company.

Over the years, the car was also repainted and there was no idea how valuable this piece was. Only the current owner found this out in the 1990s. He then had the car completely restored to its original form and returned to its original Olive Green color. But the car still has the original engine, transmission, axles and chassis parts.
