Praga introduces new cup races

As part of the promotion of the new Praga R1 racing type, a series of R1 Endurance Cup races will be organized. In it, pilots will compete with Praga R1 specials powered by a turbocharged two-liter Renault Sport Formula . Thanks to the carbon monocoque, the cars weigh just 625 kg. Thanks to the excellent power/weight ratio of 0.46 bhp/kg, the handling of the car is reminiscent of LMP class prototypes.

The new R1 Endurance Cup series thus represents a great chance for young racing pilots. They can gain experience with a classic racing car that has excellent driving characteristics. In addition, a start in the famous 24H of Le Mans race can be a great motivation for the worst pilots. The championship will be held on 7 circuits mainly in Central Europe. The presentation of the racing cars and the test day will take place on October 1 at the Slovakia Ring .
