Driving the Peugeot 208 T16 on the Tour de France

The French brand Peugeot has published another video in which it currently presents its most brutal kart since the 205 T16 and 405 T16 specials. Yes, you guessed it, this is the latest 208 T16 , currently racing around the most famous cycling hills in its native France, treating it as preparation for Pikes Peak 2013.

You could already watch the first video on our website with the 208 T16 driven by its "dad" Sébastien Loeb on asphalt roads. Now Peugeot has taken the 208 T16 to one of the sharpest corners in France – it's at Le Ventoux, which is also a stage of the Tour de France, and the French carmaker used about six of the last kilometers of it.

Loeb himself joked: "You have a much better chance of seeing me on the way to the top in a car than on a bike". And he went on to say, “It's important because Pikes Peak is a lot different than a nice, clean track. It is essential that we test the car in terrain that is much closer to what awaits us in the States. This journey will give us some idea of that”.

Now sit back and watch the video, in which you will hear the beautifully sizzling sound of the racing special, joined for a while by an excellent teacher – the Peugeot 405 T16 .
