Nissan introduced an allegedly sportier version of the Versa Note MPV

Nissan Versa Note is known in Europe under the simple name Note , but the essence of both cars is the same – a small MPV or a bloated hatchback of the B segment is intended to satisfy smaller families and bring them comfortably to their destination.

Now, however, Nissan toughened things up a bit when the Versu Note SR was shown in Chicago, differing from the classic production with a sporty body kit , including a new front bumper, mask and darkened lights at the front, respectively a new bumper and spoiler at the back . There are also sill extensions and aluminum sixteen-inch wheels.

The interior is equipped with a leather steering wheel inspired by the 370Z coupe, seats with orange details , covered with imitation suede, and glossy black decor on the center panel. The instrument cluster has also received slight modifications.

The biggest disappointment comes when looking under the hood – there we find a 110 hp petrol engine with a torque of 145 Nm. The front wheels are driven via the Nissan Xtronic automatic transmission . But wouldn't the sports version deserve a little more?
