Hyundai Veloster in limited RE:FLEX Edition

The South Korean automaker Hyundai is targeting younger customers with its unusual Veloster model. They regularly try to boost sales with limited editions , the most recent of which was presented at the Chicago Auto Show and is called the RE:FLEX Edition . We have more information for you.

The official press release states that the Veloster RE:FLEX Edition offers a sportier look, unique details and an exclusive color. Specifically, this means eighteen-inch alloy wheels with a polished chrome finish, which can also be found on the door handles and hood details. The front projector headlamps feature LED daytime running lights, while the rear lamps are entirely LED . The exclusive paint for this edition is Ice Pearl , while Century White, Vitamin C orange, Ultra Black or Boston Red are also available.

The RE:FLEX Edition will be powered by only one unit – an atmospheric four-cylinder 1.6 GDi with a power of 132 hp . The wheels of the front axle are driven through a six-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission EcoShift , a manual will not be available.

In the interior, we can find leather seats in black or red, illuminated door sills and equipment that is based on the popular Style Package . Specifically, these are leather covers for the steering wheel and shift levers, metal pedals, a 7-inch multimedia system display with a parking camera output, a 450W Dimension audio system and more.

Sales of the Veloster RE:FLEX Edition will begin early this spring, with only 3,000 units available exclusively in the US . Hyundai has not yet announced the specific price of the limited edition.
