We have known for a long time that Audi is developing a successor to the good old Quattro . We even know its codename ( Q35 ). As I thought about today's news, I remembered that I wrote one of my first articles about him years ago. However, over time, the disparate information begins to smooth into the form of something real, like right now.
The new Audi Quattro will be included in the brand's portfolio between the TT and R8 models. It is rumored that, unlike the white concept, it will be a crossover with a coupe body. So it's clear what Audi is thinking about – the masses. In any case, we should expect four seats, an aggressive design that will probably be quite similar to the white concept and modern fads in the form of LED lights.
Under the hood of the car could appear the proven turbocharged five-cylinder engine with a volume of 2.5 liters, which we know for example from the Audi RS3 . The unit will certainly be connected to the S-Tronic automatic dual-clutch transmission, which gives, together with the four-wheel drive, acceleration to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. Audi plans to produce up to 10,000 units of the new Quattro per year. There is no speculation about the price yet.
