The DTM race series will see a new Safety Car this year. This role will be fulfilled by the Mercedes-AMG GT S. He presented himself for the first time in his capacity at the Lausitz race on the weekend of May 29-31. The car replaces the previous C63 AMG Coupé Black Series , which operated as a Safety car from 2012.
