Alloy wheels are 20 inches and 10 spokes as standard, but for an additional fee, Lexus will supply rims one inch larger.
Of course, the cabin offers complete leather upholstery, to which the customer can choose wooden decors in several colors for an additional fee. A partially wooden three-spoke steering wheel is new, the analog clock on the center console has LED backlighting and GPS for accurate time zone determination. The four-zone automatic climate control allows individual temperature settings for the front seats and the steering wheel separately. As for displays, a 4.2-inch on-board computer and a 12.3-inch infotainment system with a panoramic camera system are standard, with 11.6-inch entertainment system screens for the second row of seats available for an extra charge. Rear passengers can also use separate USB ports and individual control of the air conditioning and audio system. The Luxury package adds ventilated/heated seats in the second row or a cooled box in front of the passenger.
Under the hood, there is still a 5.7-liter eight-cylinder engine with an output of 389 hp and a torque of 546 Nm, which, however, now cooperates with an eight-speed automatic transmission . From the 2016 model year, there is a Drive Mode Select dial on the central tunnel, which adjusts the transmission or adaptive suspension settings. Similar to the rejuvenated GS sedan, Lexus will also offer the Safety System + package here. It includes a pre-collision system, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning or radar cruise control.
